TRIP TO TAJ MAHAL: Our Society organised a coach tour to see the Taj Mahal on Saturday, 4th March, 2006 which was joined by 52 persons. Breakfast was provided in the Coach. After seeing the world famous monument, we all enjoyed Lunch at Agra and returned to Delhi in the evening.

DINNER AT ALKA HOTEL: Our Society organised a Dinner at Alka Hotel on Sunday, 21st May, 2006.

PICNIC AT AKSHYA DHAM TEMPLE: Our Society organised a Picnic at Akshya Dham Temple on Sunday, 20th August, 2006 which was attended by 60 persons.

BHANDARA: Our Society organised a Bhandara outside Hanuman Temple on Saturday, 16th September, 2006 for over 1000 persons. Most members of the Council of the Society along with many other members took active part in this event.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING: The 17th Annual General Meeting was held on Sunday, 3rd December, 2006 and was attended by over 30 members. Accounts for 2005-06 were adopted unanimously. Members discussed in detail as to how to make the Society more popular and had Dinner afterwards.

ANNUAL FUNCTION: 17th Annual Function was held on Monday, 25th December, 2006 at Hindi Bhavan and was attended by over 200 persons. 17 cultural items of Dances and songs were presented. The Awards winners were as follows: ­

India Investments PLC Community Award - Rs. 25000 Cheque, Trophy and Life Membership of IWS to Dr. Sumitra Shidhaye of Indore.

TRILOK CHAND GUPTA MEMORIAL AWARD - Rs. 5100 and Trophy awarded to Mr. Pradeep Aggarwal.

LAXMI DEVI GUPTA ANNUAL AWARD - Rs. 2100 and Trophy awarded to Mrs. Babita Singh.

RAM DULARI GUPTA ANNUAL AWARD - Rs. 1100 and trophy awarded to Miss Mohita Gupta.
